You may bring in or fax your prescription to (856) 505-5899 (include your phone number). We will need you to bring in or mail us your original prescription, but this will not hold up your order from being processed. As an alternative, you may request your physician to phone in your prescription to (856) 505-5222. Upon receiving a prescription from your doctor, we will first get your approval before filling the prescription unless otherwise specified.
Once we have your prescription, one of our customer care representatives will contact you. They will provide you with the price, obtain some basic information, and discuss payment/shipping options. You are under no obligation to have the prescription filled.
If you’d like to transfer your current prescription(s) to Stokes Pharmacy, we’d be delighted to have you join our family of satisfied customers. And we make the transfer process easy and seamless.

Upon receiving a prescription, it is reviewed by one of our pharmacists. A customer care representative will contact you within 24 hours to review the prescription, obtain some basic information and discuss payment/shipping options with you. If you have not heard from us, please feel free to call us.
Just let us know this is your preference and we’ll take care of it. Our pharmacist will then call your doctor or the pharmacy where your prescription currently is to have it transferred to Stokes. Read more details here.
Stokes Pharmacy is not contracted with any prescription plan. If you would like to seek reimbursement for your compounded medication, please contact your prescription plan for information.
The time to fill/make each individual prescription varies. We recommend you place your order as soon as possible to ensure sufficient compounding time. Most orders will be shipped the same day the order is placed with a few exceptions. Please provide your e-mail address, and you will be notified once your order is available to ship. If you are a local client and would like to pick-up your prescription, we will call you as soon as it is ready.

Next-day air and Saturday shipping options are available at an extra cost.
(Please note that, by law, prescriptions picked up or shipped to a location in New Jersey are taxed. Shipment fees within New Jersey are also taxable.)
*Prescriptions requiring refrigeration are shipped standard ONLY on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in order to retain integrity of the cold packaging. If you need it shipped outside of these days, additional shipping charges will apply (see above under additional services).
We do not require signatures on packages. However, your package will be left at the discretion of the delivery driver.
Yes, we’d be happy to contact your doctor when your prescription requires renewal.
*Please note that refill authorization response time from doctors’ offices may vary.
We cannot take back medication after it leaves the pharmacy. NJ State Board of Pharmacy prohibits us from reusing medication that has left the pharmacy. You can check with your local shelter or animal rescue to see if they can accept it as a donation.
